CNC Routing Table Vacuum

CNC routing tables are machines used for cutting, carving, and engraving plates of material according to the pre-programmed toolpath generated from computer-aided design.
During the cutting process, it is of utmost importance that these plates do not move or else the product will be untrue to the original design, a defect. To remedy this risk, vacuum is held underneath the plate, securing it in place against significant vibration or applied force. The force required by the vacuum is dependent on the size and density of the workpiece, but typically calls for rough vacuum. CNC routing table vacuum systems are also designed to capture stray pieces of material that fly off upon being removed from the workpiece. The benefits of this are obvious to see in woodworking, where sawdust flies into the lungs of the operator and causes irritation and further health complications.

NCC Series
The NCC Series single stage liquid ring vacuum pumps are particularly useful when processing material that has significant moisture content, such as green wood or certain resins. Moisture will damage a dry-running pump and ruin the oil of an oil-circulated pump, but the liquid ring vacuum pump has no process contamination, nor does the process contaminate its lubrication. The NCC Series is capable of up to 350 CFM and 28”HgV in vacuum and is available either in close-coupled or lantern-frame configurations.
